February 2017 Stitch Fix Review
Stitch Fix time is one of my absolute favorite times of the month. It’s like Christmas comes once a month to my doorstep, and I just can’t wait to open the box and see what’s inside. This month my stylist, Jodi, KILLED it. I meant to ask her for some casual dresses for Valentine’s Day, and completely forgot to. Luckily she saw my Pinterest board, and gave me some great dress options anyways.
What is Stitch Fix?
Stitch Fix is a subscription box that sends five pieces of clothing and accessories right to your doorstep. It’s perfect for people like me who love new clothes but hate going shopping. When you sign up you fill out a style profile, and even get to link to your fashion Pinterest page. My stylists have always been amazing about looking and my clothes board on Pinterest, and sending me some amazing clothes that match my style. There is a $20 styling fee when you order your box, but the best part is that the $20 is deducted if you decide to buy an item from the box, and if you decide to keep all five items, you get 25% off! For the items you don’t want to purchase, you simply send back the rest with free shipping. It’s extremely easy!
This fix made it SO difficult to stick to my “one item per fix” rule. I had nothing negative to say about anything I received this month. I loved everything! We’re on a pretty strict budget lately. However, I consider Stitch Fix my budget-friendly splurge each month. It is hard having to send back clothes that I love, but it is still very exciting to get a new high-quality clothing item each month!
Berry Jewelry Paris Stone Charm Pendant -$34
This necklace was so beautiful. I loved the subtle, beautiful details of this necklace, and think it would look beautiful on fitted tops.
French Grey Kati Knit Swing Dress -$48
This dress was so comfortable! I loved the swing fit of this dress, and the subtle flowers on it. This would be prefect for a date or a chill day with friends.
Pixley Kamiera Crochet Detail Knit Swing Dress -$64
The sleeves on this dress are amazing! I love the crochet detail. It definitely steps the dress up about 100 notches. I this this will be perfect for dates and even for work.
Octavia Sana Floral Print Infinity Scarf -$28
Ugh, this one hurt to return! How gorgeous is that pattern? It was a light, soft infinity scarf. Infinity scarfs are one of my favorite things in the world! This one would be so great in the spring.
Diba Lovely Bootie -$70
I’ve honestly been looking for a pair of boots like these forever. The boots I kept getting in my boxes were either the wrong color or the heel was too high. The heel on these was slightly lower that what I’m looking for, but I still love them. They’d be perfect for everyday casual wear.
Verdict: This fix felt extremely personalized to me. I loved every item this month, and everything seemed to fit really well. I decided to keep the Pixley dress because I really was looking for a nice, casual dress this month. I think this dress will be great for Valentine’s Day, but it’s also casual enough for me to wear to work without feeling incredibly over-dressed.
